CONSTRUCTION STYLES

There are six methods of cabinet construction. Each construction method changes the look of the face of the cabinet

Standard Overlay

  • 1″ reveal from the edge of the cabinet doors/drawer fronts to the edge of the cabinet frame.
  • Wall and tall cabinets have a 1-1/2″ reveal from the top of the door to the top of the cabinet frame for molding installation.
  • The standard hinges are European-style soft close concealed hinges in brushed nickel.
    • Non-soft close knife hinges in burnished brass are also available at no extra charge.

Full Overlay

  • 1/4″ reveal from the edge of the cabinet doors/drawer fronts to the edge of the cabinet frame.
  • Wall and tall cabinets have a 1-1/2″ reveal from the top of the door to the top of the cabinet frame for molding installation.
  • The standard hinges are European-style soft close concealed hinges in brushed nickel.
    • Non-soft close knife hinges in burnished brass are also available at no extra charge.

Flush Inset

  • 1-1/2″ reveal from the edge of the cabinet doors/drawer fronts to the edge of the cabinet frame.
  • Wall and tall cabinets have a 2″ reveal from the top of the door to the top of the cabinet frame for molding installation.
  • The standard hinges are European-style soft close concealed hinges in brushed nickel.
    • Non-soft close barrel hinges are also available. These may be brushed nickel, polished brass, antique brass, burnished brass, wrought iron, oil rubbed bronze, or flat black.
    • Decorative barrel hinges with finials are also available. These are used with soft close concealed hinges.

Beaded Inset

  • 1-1/2″ reveal from the edge of the cabinet doors/drawer fronts to the edge of the cabinet frame.
  • Wall and tall cabinets have a 2″ reveal from the top of the door to the top of the cabinet frame for molding installation.
  • The standard hinges are European-style soft close concealed hinges in brushed nickel.
    • Non-soft close barrel hinges are also available. These may be brushed nickel, polished brass, antique brass, burnished brass, wrought iron, oil rubbed bronze, or flat black.
    • Decorative barrel hinges with finials are also available. These are used with soft close concealed hinges.

Square Beaded Inset

  • 1-1/2″ reveal from the edge of the cabinet doors/drawer fronts to the edge of the cabinet frame.
  • Wall and tall cabinets have a 2″ reveal from the top of the door to the top of the cabinet frame for molding installation.
  • The standard hinges are European-style soft close concealed hinges in brushed nickel.
    • Non-soft close barrel hinges are also available. These may be brushed nickel, polished brass, antique brass, burnished brass, wrought iron, oil rubbed bronze, or flat black.
    • Decorative barrel hinges with finials are also available. These are used with soft close concealed hinges.

Frameless

  • 1/8″ reveal between all of the cabinet door/drawer fronts. Adjacent cabinets will each have a 1/16″ reveal for a 1/8″ reveal once installed.
  • The standard hinges are European-style soft close concealed hinges in brushed nickel.
